I've seen the alternative ending with
Chris in jail
, but were any other endings actually filmed, or just talked about? Like the one the director has mentioned in interviews where
Rod finds Chris too late, and Chris says "I don't know who you're talking about"
.
Also, maybe I missed something, but how and why was André lured to an unfamiliar neighborhood at the beginning of the movie? It seems the villains were taking a huge risk by snatching him off the street in public. -

You're right; it's never really stated what Andre was doing out in that neighborhood at that hour.
I thought maybe he had been lured by Rose, but I don't think he was part of Rose's boyfriends collage.
It's just one of those unsolved mysteries.
So many stories, so little time.
