Easily my favourite..I was apprehensive about him portraying the prominent elder Winston Churchill but I think by the end he (in my opinion) stole the show.
My favourite episode was Assassins. Churchill's revelation after seeing the painting was brilliant. The last scene of him burning the portrait was quite sad. He brought so much vulnerability, something the public rarely seen.

I totally agree. As good as everyone is - he is really the best. I also wondered about him playing Churchill but he is very believable.

Despite looking nothing like him it was almost like watching the real Churchill because of his performance.Phenomenal.

I came here to saythe interchanges during painting stood out as the finest acting I've seen in a long time. Brilliantly done. Sir Winston and King Stannis(GoT)!
