His powers a bit unconventional. Still better than some of them like climbing guy or boomerang man in the Suicide Squad movies. And the stakes are a lot lower than most superhero movies but the characters felt a lot more real.

Roofman would have broken into Thanos' lair and politely stolen the infinity stones within the first 15 minutes, then Thanos would have thanked him for it.
