How did you find out about Stranger Things?

Did not see any hype online, there was a review of it in National Review. It looked interesting, so I watched it. I thought it was pretty good.

First I heard of it is when the studio contacted me to hire me as a shill and write fake reviews and forum posts on imdb praising it. Then I watched the show and actually enjoyed it. So I didn't feel quite so guilty for whoring out my stellar online credibility for a shill paycheck.

I first heard about it when Winona Ryder was cast. I'm one of the few who was excited before the show came out.

I learned about it from a good friend that I grew up with through junior high school. We lost touch for almost 25 years and re-connected a few years ago. The show really brought back some cool memories.
