Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — A.D. The Bible Continues

    brodie-williams — 10 years ago(May 06, 2015 12:46 PM)

I have enjoyed watching this series look forward to more. The scene I was most looking forward to was Peter and John healing the lame man outside the temple.
"Silver and gold I do not have, but what I have, I give to you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk!" Acts 3:6
I am now looking forward to Peter and the conversion of Cornelius. Peter's vision regarding Salvation being for all people.
What story are you looking waiting to see?

I was most excited to see
        :
Jesus appearing to them in the upper room.
The angel releasing them from prison.
Now, I'm most looking forward to
        :
Saul's encounter with the Messiah, which I hear is in episode 7.
Reading through some of the summaries for impending episodes, I'm also looking forward to meeting Emperor Tiberius and Caligula, even though it's historically inaccurate that they ever visited Judea

I have been looking forward to Saul/Paul's appearance . He is the greatest figure in Christianity in my opinion other than Jesus.

I'm sorry you're disappointed, FisherOfMenAssemby. Not everything has gone as I imagined, but I am captivated by the Apostles' story even if the Hebrew-Roman storyvis taking up more time.
Peter has really come alive in recent episodes.Let's see how they do with Paul.

If you want THE TRUTH read the Bible and Acts. This show is 95% fake because 95% of it is not in the Bible.
Roma downey RUINED the stories once again. If you're going to make a bible story FOLLOW THE BIBLE ENTIRELY.

                      Matthew 28:18 - 19
Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit
I belong to Jesus: my Lord, Savior, my eternity, my everything. I love you, Jesus!

I was disappointed not to see Rhoda. She heared Peter knocking and in her excitement ran upstairs leaving him there knocking instead of letting him in. That story has always amused me. Poor Rhoda, remembered for 2000 years for being a ditz.
