This movie had a pretty good story and decent acting unfortunately the monster costumes especially that of Krampus himself were little better that 1950's b-movie worthy abortions.

Just gave this one a rewatch. It's an excellent and very enjoyable Christmas horror blast.
You've seen Guy Standeven in something because the man was in everything.

Having rewatched it this past Christmas, I gotta say I love the monster costumes, especially Krampus. It's a hulking, creepy monstrosity. Great design.

Are you visually impaired? The effects in this movie are fantastic. Better than many big budget CGI-fests and Krampus in particular looks fantastic. THis movie is a perfect blend of practical effects and (good) CGI.
