Yes. 16 episode Season 3 was announced ten months ago. Not for nothing but you don't have to go to a message board to find this info. Just go to amc.com or use Google.
And If So When Does It Start
No confirmed release date. Last season began in April, shortly after TWD wrapped for the year. Look for a similar start date in 2017.
