I really cannot stand the FBI agent

She is an obnoxious shrew. I hope she goes. She's enough to make me stop watching the show altogether.
Brody was good. She meshed well with Lucas Black character, and Pride. Why did she leave, anyway? If it was the producers' decision, it was a stupid move.
I'm not too fond of the other agent either. I can't remember her name, but at least she's better than the FBI biotch. -

Her voice is grating, for sure, but I have a hard time looking at her face, it is such an odd shape - sunken forehead, protruding lower half, and she always pushes her lips out in that Kardashian pout that many women seem to favor these days

I used to really like this show but Brody leaving and this new FBI addon, just screwed things up for me. I'll give it a couple more weeks but if the writers don't fix her character, then this show will go on my only if I'm really desperate list. Too bad because this once was a good show.

I can't stand that she carries her gun the same dumb way the NCIS people do- small of back. FBI agents do not do so.

I'm curious which
NCIS
characters use small of the back? McGee, Kate, Ziva, and (I'm pretty sure) Gibbs use hip holsters, while Tony used a shoulder holster (don't know why, but I always find that the "sexiest" of holster types). I'm pretty sure Kate used a thigh holster at least once. Who does small of the back? -

All of the New Orleans agents do this. The thing is, by being FBI, she'd use FBI issued gear, not NCIS. Another dumb thing is keeping your gun in a filing cabinet. Small of back carry makes it uncomfortable to sit at a desk in an office chair- I worked in plain clothes for a number of years and preferred a hip holster. I know many detectives use ankle holsters, which likewise make for difficult access when you need the weapon and limit the size of what you can carry. A normal hip holster would alleviate the need to store the weapon.

Oh, sorry. I thought you were referring to the mothership in your previous post about small-of-the-back holsters. I confess I hadn't paid attention on NO, but then again, we watched sporadically last season and aren't watching this season at all.

Wow mean much. She is portraying a character as written. She is not fully. Wow
Considering she plays the exact same character no matter what role she is playing, I am starting to believe it is her. She really is a terrible addition to the show. I hope they get rid of her soon. I loved the addition of Jennifer Esposito to NCIS, but Vanessa Ferlito is simply terrible. She does not mesh at all.
On a separate note, seeing her billed above Shalita Grant, Rob Kekovich, and CCH Pounder is really sad. she is a terrible addition and is by no means more pivotal to the show than their characters.

I've been wondering if anyone liked her. Guess I'm not alone. Just when I thought maybe she'd be gone soon, last week's episode (s3e5) had her getting all gooey about maybe getting to like NOLA ugh! I don't have anything against the actress but the character just doesn't fit at all! I really hope the showrunners get a different character.

Thanks for the update. I saw this week she is in the opening credit sequence. UGH! That character completely changes the show, and not for the better. I've never stopped watching a show due to a character change/addition before, but if it keeps on grating on me as it has, this may become a "first time for everything" decision

I thought I was in the minority. The producers should realize that with so many viewing options they need to pay attention to how many people leave this show because of this casting snafu. I need to cut something from my schedule, this might be it.

About 9-10 million people watches the show every episode. The writers aren't going to base their casting decisions on the 500-1000 people on social media that claims that they are going to stop watching if the show doesn't get rid of the FBI-agent.
