When Indy was in the garage and sniffed/saw/remembered the grandfather in the chair with death about to come and take him…there's a sort of thing rising behind him and then that's the end of that shot.
We next see him and he's covered in dirt/soot and he has to get a bath (Which is when Todd throws up blood).
What happened to Indy during that time?
Everything else is accounted for (Even the arms under the bed snatch) but that part doesn't make any sense (To me at least) given everything we see Indy going through and witnessing.
Seems like a bit of a loose end left out on purpose if you ask me
