    • Through the Looking Glass (2x)
    • A Little Princess (2x)
    • The Secret Garden
    • a lot of the Little House books (like Little House on the Prairie) some more than 1x
    • A Series of Unfortunate Events (1-3 before the movie was released, soon after the novel came out?)
    • American Girls: Felicity & some of Kirsten
    • small novel of Little Women
    • Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2x?)
    • Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator
    • I got ZooBooks and read all the ones I got, all of it, at age 8
    • the first Narnia book
    • some of an Oz book maybe
    • The Hobbit or some of it
      ½ S/N Asian (40%+ Chinese) ½ Norwegian/Danish-Irish Swiss (Amish/PA) German French Dutch? French+Dutch Celtic-Irish English-Irish? 🇮🇹..?

      None, recently, as I am not a child.
      When I was a child I enjoyed books like Encyclopedia Brown and The Boxcar Children.
      Choose Your Own Adventure books were also great.
      The Hobbit isn't a childrens book.

                That's the cover from the 70's animated version which was for children. Cartoons are not books, and you generally don't read them.

                        It's been a while since I was a child. I use to read to our son when he was little. His favorites were Peter Pat and the Policeman and Katie the Kitten.
