Which is 'The Creation - Is it polluted by the occult?', the answer being of course not, but I have gone into explaining why extensively, and it refers to the martial arts, yoga, meditation, and alternative therapies and other activities that originate in the east as examples of activities that can be but often are not underlied by religions and the occult. It is my pride and joy. This original version of it is without professional grammar editing, so it reads exactly how I want it to.
I have but one book, a little larger than A5 paperback, and I have in the last few days applied some minor edits to it, and to a section at the end in the notes that I want to have moved back into the text. And I have tonight emailed iUniverse with my title and ISBN, which was the original publisher of it, to ask if they still have the manuscript on their server, and if it can have some minor edits applied to it. And also to ask if there is a webpage for it.
Being an American company its payment process may not be compatible with my UK bank account, in which case I will have to have it advertised as a freebie.

      Don't waste your money.
iUniverse is considered a vanity press because it charges authors significant fees for services like editing, design, and marketing, which is a model where the company's profit comes from selling packages to authors rather than from book sales to the public. While it offers "assisted self-publishing" and has an online bookstore, it is not a traditional publisher that exercises editorial control or invests in a book's potential success.
Characteristics of iUniverse as a vanity press Author-funded publishing:
iUniverse operates on a model where authors pay for the publication of their books, with costs potentially ranging from $$400 to over ($15,000) for different packages and add-on services.
Limited editorial control: Unlike traditional publishers that select manuscripts based on potential, iUniverse publishes most manuscripts it receives for a fee, making it more of a service provider than a gatekeeper of quality.
Profit from sales: The company's primary revenue comes from selling publishing packages and additional services to authors, not from the sales of books to the general public.
Marketing claims: While iUniverse offers a variety of marketing and distribution services, critics point out that these are often expensive add-ons and do not guarantee significant sales or success.
Self-publishing vs. traditional publishing: The services provided are a form of "assisted self-publishing" rather than a partnership with a traditional publisher. The author still has to do a lot of work and promotion themselves.
