You think that's sad? Think of the hundreds of billions these people pissed away on trucks, flat screen tvs, $600 iphones, ultimate cable package with HBO, that $100 steak dinner, new kitchen remodel, etc instead of thinking about their finances.
This happened 6 years ago and 1/3 of Americans still dont even have $1,000 savings but I'll bet you they re-up on their Verizon contract so they can get the new iPhone or Samsung.
