LOL, I think the movie's box office success on it's opening weekend (it made over 64 million which was more than they were projecting) proves otherwise. Scream 8 is most definitely going to happen. -

Have you noticed there's nothing original coming out anymore? Everything is a remake, a sequel, a prequel, or a "re-imagining" of an existing movie.
