WAY better than 5 and 6

So I finally saw this and now I get why all those Woke reviewers panned it - Scream 7 is
vastly
better than those impostor films 5cream & 6.
In fact, they should have just called this film Scream 5 (easy, since that film was so obnoxious as to call itself ‘Scream’ 🤮), and they should have brought back
Dewey
, just totally ignore those Woke propaganda ****fests posing as Scream films.
This one was refreshingly Woke-free, and brought back Neve as Sidney, who wisely dodged the bullet of 6. Minorities are no longer invulnerable. Black lesbian Randy is back, sadly, but she’s much less annoying this time around.
Unlike 5 and 6, 7 is actually canon but it’s far from perfect, and ranks just below 3. It starts great, I was instantly impressed with how Williamson directed the tense opening kill scene, and his intro of Sid and her family was very well executed. Neve is superb as Sid, and Isabel May is excellent as her daughter Tatum 2.0.
The thrills and kills come thick and fast, maybe too much in fact, I could have done with a bit more character reflection and world building actually, but I was surprised how entertaining it was after all those ****ty reviews.
Some of the surprises were genuinely shocking, like the mid-film
Ghostface death
, and especially the sudden appearance of
Matthew Lillard as Stu.
The problems really start to emerge in the last act. There’s a sense of ‘where is everyone?’, and there’s no sense of a proper climax, it never
builds
to anything.
The worst part? The killer reveals. After a superb build-up they turned out to be
a couple of nobodies with motivations so unclear and poorly explained that I still don’t know WTF was going on. They really should have gone with Stu being one of the killers, and really unleashed the mad power of Lillard in a meaningful location with huge stakes.
The other big issue is the CGI-aided kills. Instantly spoils the horror because it looks fake, and one kill is needlessly elaborate and borderline comedic, it just doesn’t work. Scream kills should be vicious, sudden and brutal, they can be creative but should always be believable, some of these just reek of pixels.
I remember cringing at Courtney Cox’s Botox-face in Scream 4, 15 years later and she now looks like someone wearing a creepy Courtney Cox mask, scarier than Ghostface.
So this is totally worth watching, it can’t touch the Craven classics but it outshines most modern horror by miles, which isn’t saying much. It easily ****s on those godawful Halloween sequels. -

When it comes to Female Ghostface Killers from the Scream movies, this below is how I would rank them from Top (which is Best) to Bottom (which is Worst).
Jill (Scream 4)
Mrs. Loomis (Scream 2)
Amber (Scream 5)
Jessica (Scream 7)
Quinn (Scream VI) -

5 and 6 are not canon for me and I barely recall those characters. Of the remaining ones… I agree, Jill was a great surprise and her motive was amazingly topical and applies even more today - ‘I don’t need
friends
, I need
fans
!’ The only downside is that she’s so tiny it’s hard to believe her dispensing any of those savage kills in 4.
Mrs Loomis was a cool surprise, although she was a bit too comical - this cackling 50-something woman in a suit with bugeyes screaming, slashing and going berserk
I like how she just ruthlessly blows away her accomplice Mickey. Jill did the same thing (never trust a woman)
Jessica was reasonably well acted I guess but her ‘motive’ was godawful gobblede**** that I just tuned out of, and she was barely in the film. You were expecting
Stu
and got handed some bimbomom who barely appeared in the film

Hey ******, the woke critics over at Rotten Tomatoes hated the film, of course, but the audience gave it 76%. WompWOMP!
Once again your attempt at a gotcha backfires horribly and you make a
total
prick of yourself

It's called review bombing, r-tard.
Hive minded MAGA mongoloids like you flock to movies they dislike (or in this case like) and give it a bunch of fake ratings.
Then once their thought leaders command them to go elsewhere the ratings eventually return to normal.

Awww, it’s adorable when you ******* swoop to the rescue of your fellow Sisters

Unfortunately for you and your boyfriend, your Woke conspiratard explanation is completely unconvincing and obvious bullshit
You’ve done nothing to alleviate the self imposed humiliation of your buttboy ‘No one cares’.
Oh well, better luck next time eh? -

I don’t know or care, I haven’t made any claims about Scream 7’s IMDb score and have nothing to ‘defend’. What
is
important is that you tried to pretend that Scream 7’s low Woke-critics score was somehow damning of the film, but when we look at what audiences specifically thought of it they gave it a very healthy 76%, blowing apart your ****ty argument
WompWOMP! Another epic fail and backfire from the Filmboard Faggot who rightfully calls himself ‘No one cares’. If you weren’t so dumb and full of **** maybe people would care
