Couldn't get past it. She's a lesbian, has sex with women. She doesn't even come across as very feminine, the way she moves, her super short fingernails.
When a lesbian actress is 'dykey' - it just comes across and makes it hard to believe she's having sex with a guy.
I'd have a hard time believing Neil Patrick Harris having sex with a woman in a movie/tv show. -

I didn't know she is a lesbian (I don't live in the US) and i totally bought she is a straight girl. A bit of a tom boy maybe but that doesn't mean anything.
And before I knew Neil Patrick Harris is gay I had no clue he is just by watching him act.
I think you need to forget an actor's personal life when watching their movies and shows. What will you say if Brad Pit does a movie is 20 years where he is happily married with one woman all his life? -

Neil Patrick Harris does have a sex scene with a woman in Gone Girl. He even plays a man obsessed with a a woman and it was believable. You just have to put the personal life of the actor out of your mind.
