Do we really need an extraterrestrial drama?

Seriously I don't need to see a 2 hour talk fest with how we need to understand the aliens. Give me freaking action already! I don't care how much praise this movie is getting, it's the least thrilling alien picture since Contact.

Here I thought Contact was the better of the sci-fi movies in the last few decades, and I've seen them all. I like my action flicks as well as the deep , cerebral ones ( like Contact and 2001, Moon, etc. ) Europa Report was excellent as well. Hell I pretty much like anything sci-fi, but the deeper the better for me.

Yeah, let me make this very clear. This one isn't for you. I wanted a thoughtful film, and I enjoyed Contact, and even I felt pretty letdown by how hollow this film felt.
