to tell Ian that their daughter was going to die?
She could have told him before they got married so that he'd know what he was getting into.
Or she could have NEVER told him what was coming at all. That way he wouldn't have divorced her and her daughter could have spent her entire childhood in a two-parent household.
Instead, she gives him this unnecessary knowledge of the future and wrecks her family for no reason. -

Feh, I'd try to prevent the cancer and see if the resulting paradox really did blow up the universe or if multiverse theory was a thing.
One way or another, I'd get the truth!
And it would only risk the existence of the universe! Which is a perfectly acceptable trade off.
I mean, what did the universe ever do for me! Damned stupid universe.
