And Signs would be an obvious one. I saw it at the cinema when it came out and can’t really remember if it was good or not. Most of Shyamalan’s work isn’t.

I didn't like Arrival for a number of reasons; long slow shots, fumbling and boring score, colour scheme, inescapable predeterminism with a dead daughter added into it so why did the aliens bother because it's all locked in apparently and Hawkeye didn't shoot one arrow

I was disappointed too. It’s not awful, but not as good as the critical reception it got. Probably worth about 6.5/10.
Amy Adams is the perfect milf though.

On a serious not it wasn't as up to scratch as I would have liked and certainly was praised critically more than I would say it was worth.
That said it had mystery, spectacle and a real sense of people working together from across various agencies throughout the world which certainly made it feel real.
Adam Adams is a MILF but I'd take her once that daughter croaked
