I've seen one episode, Shut up and Dance. I was floored when it was over. So I'm watching it again with my wife who hasn't seen it. I picked up on two different things. One in the beginning we see Kenny cleaning off a table where he works. A child leaves her toy behind and he calls her and gives it back to her. For those who haven't seen this episode, Ill spoil it. Beware. Kenny watches child porn. The scene of him giving back the toy to get younger girl is terrifying. Reason being Kenny looks like some kid whose balls haven't even dropped, whose working as a bus boy at some greasy knife and fork restaurant and all around a good kid. Or at least thats what were a lead to believe. Nothing is ever as it seems.
Case and point. After receiving the box, Kenny then jumps on the bus and opens the box to find a cake saying ' I Love You.' After seeing that he is somewhat relieved, thinking in the box was going to be something far more gruesome and startling. But its whats inside the cake that is startling. The glasses, the hat and the gun used to rob that bank. On the outside a beautiful sugary cake full of sweetness, inside a downright spiral leading to your ultimate demise. Like I said nothing is ever black and white. Nothing is ever as it seems.

Context, though.
Black Mirror
often features characters who are not what they seem on the surface. And we already had a couple of clues by that time that there was something wrong with him.
I didn't catch on that quickly, myself, but considering what we're watching, I'm not surprised that some viewers did. I don't think it says anything about their characters, only that they're observant and deductive.

Those viewers probably assume EVERY character has something going on with them, so they are wrong a lot too. My main point was that unless you were being paranoid the child scene wouldn't have meant anything. It was put there for the "oh my god" after the reveal. Makes you see that scene completely different.

There was NOTHING terrifying about the scene of him giving the toy back to the girl. Stop being so dramatic. It was only upsetting in retrospect, after having found out what he did at the end of the episode. You make it sound like it's a crime to be friendly with children. It's NOT.
