yet another unneeded and unnecessary sequel

gosh i looked at what movies were in theaters a few weeks ago and i noticed there were 4 movies playing in a theater which were all remakes or sequels.
it was beetlejuice sequel, twister sequel, the crow remake, and alien: romulus. if this is not the biggest and clearest indictment and biggest proof that hollywood has lost all creativity then i don't know what is? i mean 4 of these movies all at the same time in theaters?

i dont know how old you are but if you are in your 30s or 40s you would know that this is not right and that this is not the way it was in the '80s and '90s.
it takes experience in watching '80 and '90s movies as well as movies made in the '00s and after to know the difference between these decades of films which is why you need to be old enough to understand this difference.
yeah no one asked for or needed a sequel to beetlejuice. bc if it was needed it would have been made 20 years ago or 25 years ago. a sequel shou be made no more than 10 years after the first movie.

but all we see nowadays are sequels remakes like the top gun sequel which is again an unneeded movie like this movie.
and the new mad max movies and they even made a sequel to blade runner? that was really wrong. harrison ford has shown no respect for his most famous and best movies by making sequels to a few of his best movies like this one and all his star wars sequels and all his indiana jones sequels since 2008's movie.

i mean can you name one example of a movie made and then 20 or 30 years later they make a sequel and it worked?
i can only come up with 2 and they the godfather part 3 and psycho 2.
if they don't jump a on a sequel within 5 or at the most 10 years it is not going to be a good movie.
this is why i am kind of sad about the fact they didn't jump on a sequel to x machina within 5 years.
the worst offender about this is harrison ford who has **** on his biggest movie franchises by appearing in the unneeded sequels to star wars, indiana jones after the last crusade, and blade runner.
