why is season 4 so slow and no fights? i mean i like it , but too bad it wasnt so many fights like in first 3 seasons?
also end find between hood and burton is cool , but it could be more epic

Low budget, even fewer episodes (their usual seasons have 10 instead of the common 12 to 13 for a cable channel and the final season was cut to 8, and the lead actor Antony Starr asked to have the amount of physical stunts cut down because he had been injured so much. I think a few of the actors were close to starting new things so they didn't want to risk any bodily damage.

S4 being the weakest is definitely a popular opinion in some places but I agree I loved the final season and some people hyped it up so much there is no way it was going to live up to their standards.

Matt Servito was hyping it the most. And for his character, it was a good season. But not so good for any other character, or the show overall.

after mad cap pacing for 3 years s4 imho started just too slowly, watching hood just sit there with long hair and beard.

It fith with his character after all the pain and suffering he went through.
It was a different atmosphere and I appreciate the fact they tried something new even if people bitched over and over about it.
                Haters gonna hate.

Starr literally went right into "American Gothic"!

Man that show was pathetic, if I myself say so.

That (American Gothic( was just painful to watch. I only tried it because of Antony Starr, but I could I really could not take more than the pilot
