Attacks you constantly, show him the door. (Seek help getting them adopted)
I just don't understand why people spend years dealing with a cat that wants to kill them.
It's all well and fine to be an animal lover, but there is a line. I wouldn't live with my dog if every time I walked by him, he looked like he wanted to bite me, or worse actually attack.
Pets are supposed to bring joy into our lives, and theirs. If that's not happening, they belong with someone else. -

if your child attacked you, would you dump them, too? your pet should be like your childand before you say, 'well, I could reason with my child,' what if they were very young, or had something like Autism, or another disorder/disability that made them unable to understand? same thing with your pet, when you get a pet, it should be forever, like a kid

I have every right to express my opinion here just like you do. I am civil to other posters until they are uncivil to me. If you were smart you'd just ignore me instead of blowing a gasket.

You say your pet should be like your child, but that is a lie because some of you have shown no regard for the welfare of children. You regard the child as lower than the pet. You are treating the child as lower than the pet when you tolerate harm to a child from a pet.
Here's my stance, and that of most people: A pet is not equal to a child. It's much, much lower. Do I really have to explain why? A child should be your highest priority, someone you sacrifice for, your life, if necessary. Even a bad child.
At least I come out and say that I regard children as higher than pets. You guys won't even admit you regard pets higher than children. Cowards.
If you are childless you can make your pet your child and I don't care. But if you have an actual child and you treat it worse than or even on par with your pet, something is wrong with you, you lack something, and you are doing wrong.
