If I'm in the mood for pure action, the first one definitely wins out. The second movie is fantastic in its own right, but for me, it's a little long and drawn out for multiple viewings.

Without a doubt, I prefer the 2nd one. Don't get me wrong thoughthe first one is awesome too. I just think that the second one has a better and more in-depth story line. And plus there are a few extra fighting scenes in the sequel that are just epic. Both films are good. I just like the sequel a bit more.

I turned the second one off. It had nothing that made the first movie fun. There weren't even any fight scenes, just some boring mobster storyline no one cares about.
