        The book is great. Some of Gaiman's novels read as though he's getting them ready for tv but this one doesn't. I love it.

          It's bloody brilliant. Supposedly, it came very close to be called one of the Great American Novels. No small feat, considering Neil Gaiman is British.

            I'd still consider it a Great American novel. It's so entrenched in the land and people, after all.
