I just began reading American Gods this weekend, and I have to say I think the casting of Ian McShane as Mr. Wednesday is perfect. Picturing him as the character while reading the novel is effortless.
Btw, in the trivia section here, it's mentioned that the first choice for the Mr. W character was Nicolas Cage, but he turned the role down. Thank god! That would have sucked massively.
