As far as cinema experiences go, I've seen this, Jackass Forever and the new Matrix movie since the pandemic hit.
As much as I tend to lack interest in superhero movies, The Batman was my favourite of the 3 films I mentioned.
Jackass Forever was fun but not as good as the previous Jackass movies. I went into the new Matrix expecting it to be trash and I got exactly that.
The Batman had great cinematography, tone, and none of those unnatural comedic moments that are forced into the Marvel movies. My only issues with it were the very specific mentioning of "white privilege" by Catwoman during an era when you can't escape people complaining about white people, and Paul Dano's character obnoxiously crying in the ending. He otherwise was THE acting highlight in a movie filled with acting highlights. -

It's been a lot longer for me. I'd much rather stream an old movie at leisure than sit thru a new one. ¿My latest?
By Dawn's Early Light (1990)
has been recently made more relevant. It's about a USA/USSR nuclear exchange triggered by a rogue missile coming from Turkey, a NATO country. It's available now on Amazon Prime.
