Audrey died like that! Imagine surviving all of those attacks just to be shot by the cops while being saved. I half expected Lee to break the fourth wall & wink at the viewers lol.
Also, the preview of the next episode gave me "The People V. O.J. Simpson" vibes. Im excited to see how Lana will tie into this.

Yeah, she had to die so Sarah Paulson could change clothes and play Lana. She might have it in her contract now that she never has to play two characters in the same scene again!

The irony of it all is too good Audrey flipping out over Lee having a gun in episode 6, then she gets shot for pulling one on Lee
