    If someone humans for several years, they would develop Kurdu. By this logic, the mother would have serious neurological issues at this point, even in a wheelchair. Definitely not strong enough to walk. The sons could also have signs of it. Then again, it's also possible that since generations have been doing it, that they've built an immunity. But the cases are rare.

          Prions exist in small quantities in human flesh. Most is in the brain though.
