To the people complaining, What the hell do you people expect
"Unrealistic writing", you do realize you're watching a fictional television show?
If any of the writing was realistic then they would have beep to shoot!
I found this season to be really cool, a little silly sure but hell of a fun!
Plus the music was really eerie and fitting the whole vibe.
Only question is why we didn't we see any of the actors ghosts would be cool!
Who else liked this season?

Definitely the most entertaining and most thrilling season since Asylum.
After a LONG string of terrible seasons - 3 straight years of HOT MESS TRAINWRECKS, we finally got a halfway-decent season!!!
Now please let the trend continue on to next season!!! -

Agree although I haven't found any season terrible to be honest
Comparing this show to the other horse beep out there I'd say AHS is pretty decent altogether!
And I love the idea that they use same actors in different storylines and keep it fresh.
It shows the variety of talents and keeps the actors on their toes.
Horror house remains my favourite though.
The BEST intro scene to a pilot I've seen thus far.
"Tonight you belong to me" starts playing and the two brats crash the house and get killed and the scene ends with little Addie just repeating "you're gonna regret it, you're gonna regret it".man that's an awesome and scary as hell introscene!!

My biggest problem was the finale.
I don't think it was the best season, but I do think it was probably the scariest. It had so many moments that made me jump or yelp. No other season has given me the creeps like this one has! -

Asylum 10/10
Roanoke 10/10
Coven 9/10
Murderhouse 8.5/10
Hotel 8/10
Freakshow unfortuntely gets a 5/10. Although it improved on my last rewatch so maybe I should have binge watched the season but still
I personally think they are all great. Freakshow had some very intruiging characters I could watch it just to watch those scenes. -

People don't realize that this show has been, to be totally honest, stupid since season 1.
The show has always had characters doing stupid things and acting in illogical ways. Hell, Ben Harmon has to be one of the most bone-headed, clueless idiots of all time.
What makes the first two seasons good are the creative plots and interesting characters and great acting. And they felt properly horrific. Season 3 could have been great if it didn't fizzle out and spin it's guns after 6 or 7 episodes.
Freak Show was boring as sin and Hotel was too loosey goosey even by the shows normal standards. The past 3 seasons forgot it was supposed to be a horror show and they became nothing but violent soap opera's.
What I loved about Roanoke was that it had focus. It was about ONE CENTRAL IDEA and they stuck with it while adding twists that served that one central idea. It was brutal, funny, energetic and it got back it being about HORROR.
It still retain all of AHS's flaws with illogical characters, threads left unresolved etcbut it felt like the team behind the show really wanted to just do something more straight forward and fun and they succeeded.
