An indigenous woman is pursued by a psycho trucker on a lonely highway in Northern Canada. Not bad for a low-budget Canadian film.

I myself wouldn't waste my time with it. Even from the movie trailer I can tell it will be flimsy and annoying. Cheap.
Why? In the first few seconds of the trailer, look at the make/model of the vehicle she's driving.
What is that POS? A Toyota Camry or something?
So if she's driving a Toyota Camry why would I care what happens to her?
And if she's an Indigenous Native Canadian driving a Toyota Camry, I would care even less.
Owning a vehicle like that says: she's not living authentically. She's just another mass-market consumer myrmidon.
I bet at some point in the story, we'd see her with i-Buds in her ears as she's driving. Stalked by a psycho? Gee, how unfortunate.
If you wanna see a bonafide respectable 'Duel' ripoff …try Stacy Keach & Jamie Lee Curtis in "
      Road Games
      ".

I concur. Road Games is a good flick.

I was ready to turn it off not long after it started (as I do with so many newer horror films), but as I sat there watching it, I began to enjoy it. The female lead did a good job and there were some intense scenes as well as laughable ones that directly ripped off Spielberg's film. Also, I'm a sucker for winter/frigid weather horror films.
