In a way. But no more so, than any other group of 4 people to carry that moniker.
Bringers of change.
In the bible, a rather large change.
In the wrestling world, just a talented group of wrestlers coming together.
In this movie, just a talented group of magicians being put together.
In College football, just a talented group of backfielders put together.
In comics, just a talented group of mutants being put together.
And many more.
