He was fired earlier in the year and the alleged reason is now coming out. He is also accused of groping an assistant.

Beau DeMayo, the show’s creator and head writer, was abruptly fired just weeks before the premiere, with no explanation provided. Both the studio and DeMayo have remained silent on the matter.
Everything changed recently when DeMayo took to social media to target his former employer. He first criticized Disney for not inviting him to the Emmy Awards and then publicly called out the company while sharing an article about a wrongful death lawsuit Disney is currently facing. The situation escalated when DeMayo accused the company of removing his season 2 writing credits after he shared a sexually suggestive drawing of Cyborg.
Jeff Sneider, in his InSneider newsletter, has shared more about what allegedly happened, though it’s important to note that these claims are based on rumors and haven’t been confirmed. According to his sources, DeMayo allegedly sent nude photos of himself in sexually suggestive poses to several young male staffers working on X-Men ’97, claiming they could be used as “inspiration.”
He allegedly groped an assistant multiple times and was emotionally and physically abusive to other staff members. While the groping allegations are new, many had already speculated that DeMayo’s firing was related to sexual misconduct. The claims about his difficult behavior, however, echo rumors from March, suggesting he was fired for being hard to work with.
