When you say Atheists you mean reasonable/logical people who don't believe in supernatural nonsense?

First of all, read the Gospels and tell me specifically what Jesus said that was unreasonable about a moral life. Secondly, where's all the "supernatural nonsense" in this film. Third, educate yourself about the Kalam Cosmological Argument and tell me why it isn't logical that the argument follows a person might believe in a Creator.
        Good wishes to you.

Kalam Cosmological Argument doesn't really prove anything, it just replaces one problem with another.
If whatever begins to exist has a cause, what caused the god? Who is creators creator, who is creators creators creator
If something can begin to exist without cause, then whole argument collapses.
BTW, Kalam Cosmological Argument don't claim creator being the god christians worship or him wanting any worship!
          Unreasonable words from Jesus?
"Slaves, obey your earthly masters with deep respect and fear. Serve them sincerely as you would serve Christ." Ephesians 6:5
"For God said, 'Honor your father and mother' and 'Anyone who curses their father or mother is to be put to death." Matthew 15:4
"If anyone comes to me and does not hate father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sistersyes, even their own lifesuch a person cannot be my disciple." Luke 14:26
"Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division: For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three. The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law." Luke 12:51-53
"Behold, I will throw her on a bed of sickness, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of her deeds. 'And I will kill her children with pestilence, and all the churches will know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts; and I will give to each one of you according to your deeds." Revelation 2:22-23
          list goes on!
Turn the other cheek, never mind, kill the bitch, her children and everyone else who doesn't repent her! Also love thy neigbour, but hate your family and don't you dare to disrespect or curse them!

That's an interesting translation you have there. May I ask what version those verses are from?

I'm a proud atheist but I really enjoyed the movie. Sam Childers did something incredible!

Any film that even modestly involves religion -Christianity, usually- will draws out the bigots. Most of them are simply lost souls crying out to God in the only way they know; through over-used taklking points fed to them by the same humanist filth that dominate most establishements of learning and info distribution.
The NYTimes didd a story on the LRA where they used the term "cvhristian terrorists in every sentence. They didn't bother to note that the LRA pratices voodoo, to this day. It's basically a cult designed around a political/ militant movement. But it was a way to bash christianity so they couldn't let it go. It's just like the ones who claim Hitler was a Christian without understanding his proggressive, leftist nature.
The progs will never find utopia on earth without a few christian martyrs to scrammble in. Problem is, they have no idea how faith works within the individual.
                    Pace.

maybe but, i have to be honest, i am an atheist, and a very stubborn one at that, but you know what? i also loved this movie and the hate depresses me because i have a tough time trying to understand it myself, i am in no way religious but, as long as they're not preachy of course, i can enjoy religious based movies as much as any film if i think they're good in the first place, even Passion of the Christ is one of my favourite movies.
maybe some people don't like it because of the religious aspects, i'm not really sure, don't want to make assumptions here but personally i think if i'm negative towards religion in real life, that doesn't mean i should carry a chip on my shoulder into a film that happens to portray religion in a positive light, every film deserves a fair trial of course and for me it doesn't matter if a film is pro religion or not, it just has to be good and not preachy.
                      that's my mindset.
