ok, mr or missy, this is getting really stupid.. im not going in this 3 pages/reply debate with with.
It can't be that only art imitates life. they're both connected. there is no valve determining who imitates who.
Do you want to know why africans are starving right now ?
It's actually because we tried to help them, because we tried to show them how to live a civilized life, and we gave them medicine, and we cured their sick, and maybe we even showed them agriculture, im not sure if they already had that.
And now, they can't handle it. Their population has increased, but they can't support themselves. If we just left them alone, in a few decades they would probably go back to tribe wars (with spears not ak47's) and that'd be that, no hunger problems anymore. They would balance their own population levels just nicely.
Btw, do you know what they call an organism that lives of using the resources that another organism gathers without giving anything in return ?
a parasite ?
QUOTE
"The total number of people in Africa grew from 221 million in 1950 to 1 billion in 2009"
well, how about that ?
And where do you think all those people will go when they won't find anything to eat in there or any jobs ? We'll bring them here cause we could need some overpopulation problems ourselves, and they'll find plenty to eat and the girls will give them plenty of blowjobs too, cause that's how just they are, super attractive, hater's gonna hate.
that sentence where you mention the double helix is quite contradictory, i cant really tell what you mean, did we get strong because of colonialism or the double helix ?
"I DO try to avoid it. Most of what I see on TV goes through a filter"
you have a UV filter on your tv ? that's nice.
"Um, what? There are plenty of movies about the harsh realities many predominantly black neighborhoods face. "
EXACTLY ! its about the poor black people again, and how we abandoned them to live in poverty.
"And bullying, although I don't know where you got the idea that bullying only occurs in a classroom of black kids"
well, people tell me the same stories. and i can talk from experience too
what don't you understand ? weak social creatures act weak.
Its not just that they don't attack because they can't. They will ask for pity and act as if they're harmless and innocent.
but that's irrelevant anyway.
I was just trying to explain there there isn't really any such thing as good or bad or a good or bad person. And the people that we see as weak now could easily be a major treat not much later. Like the blue aliens from avatar ,, who is there to say that if they were the ones with the spaceships they wouldn't have exploited earth to get latex or uranium or whatever they never seen before.
anyway, id prefer if you dont reply, and if you do, i won't. -

you obviously didnt read my definition of parasitic behavior properly..
And maybe egiptians or some other northern states were more advanced, but egiptians aren't really black.. it's more like the middle east in there
the rest were most likely tribes,
"Pre-colonial Africa possessed perhaps as many as 10,000 different states and polities[32] characterised by many different sorts of political organisation and rule. These included small family groups of hunter-gatherers such as the San people of southern Africa"
bla bla, so tribes,
now we expect them to be civilized and it's just not in their nature. we should just leave them be and watch them in safari trips or something and take pictures of them from the back of the trucks.. -

I really don't care, do a revolution if you have to.
What I care is that the population level of Europe is decreasing, while everywhere else demographics are increasing, this only means that soon in the future the people of Europe will disappear or be assimilated by other people, and I don't think that's very nice at all.
But I guess it's out fault for being such politically correct wusses and for that, we don't deserve to live. -

well i dont give a sh_t what makes them have more babies to double the population every 30 years, fact is i don't like it.
lol what ? help them ?
haha, parasititc behaviour much ?
and what will they do with the help ? buy a ticket to europe ?
do you realize there are 1 billion people in africa ? im not even sure if their agriculture can support that.
and by the time you help them, they'll be 2 billion anyway. when exactly do you think good social conditions will make them stop ? -

understand what ?
i don't really think we have any sort of responsibility towards you.
fixing your economy, educating your people,
you know we also have nukes at our disposal, those would surely get things done very quickly, im not saying we should use them.. -

Sigh western world will benefit both economically and socially by getting the countries in Africa out of their miserable state.
I don't care if the western world has any moral obligation to Africa, but helping them develop stable societies will prevent their crap spilling over to us (drugs, refugees and corruption).
I'm not talking about donations, as most of their government are more corrupt than a conservative tea party, but by increasing the basic education and women's right. Increased education means that they can do more advanced jobs, which leads to a more technological advanced industry. An increased middle class will consume more international products. Better conditions for women's rights will also mean fewer children, as they don't have to worry about a 20-30% child mortality.
A stable society (no wars) will have a more efficient spending of the countries resources. Otherwise it's just one local warlord after another, sucking the country dry. -

Isn't it very difficult to remove warlords ?
you would need something like armed intervention for that, and probably a puppet government, not just some education. Because you would need to build up good police forces and security.
(Since they are corrupt, it won't just work with asking them to do it properly)
I dont think you really have any idea about what you're talking about, but i can tell you that this situation can't be fixed with normal policies.
And you want to do good in africa, but of course you don't care about the future of you own continents and your own people.
you think it's all great in here and it will be forever.. -

Yes, I agree. It is very difficult to remove a warlord. His henchmen would just take over the role. Look at Somalia!
I didn't say I had the solution, if it was that simple - then Africa wouldn't be in such a bad state.
Who would want to pay for the armed intervention and puppet government? We can see how much Afghanistan and Irak is costing the USA. And that's with the oil reserves as incentive!
It takes slow and gradual changes to those countries, one suggestion is change the idea of "tribal" culture. It would prevent more genocides like the Tutsi vs Hutsi (look Hotel Rwanda). Most of the "soldiers" joining these rebel factions do it out of- Poverty
- Religion
- Getting revenge for previous atrocities.
Get them fast food like KFC and cable TV, and you'll see that in 2 generations, no one will want to stage a revolt
Yes, I'm no expert in International Relations. Only been to Ghana and Ethiopia twice as health care worker (upgrading hospital healthcare) and my views are based on those short trips.
