why were they able to just fly up to Elysium and walk right into the main head quarters with zero resistance. This makes no sense Earlier the space shuttles were destroyed trying to get there and robots immediately attacked the one that landed.
And then this was the mission to change the world for good, BUT they send only 3 guys including one who can barely walk??? -

There is quite a lot going on. There had just been a coup. a crash landing in the middle of Elysium, as well as the theft of vital Elysium software. Spider, who we understand to be an adept hacker, took the opportunity to slip in. He didn't need heaps of offsiders because he didn't want to draw attention to himself and knew that if he could secure Max's program every thing would be OK any way.
