Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Grabbers

I had a good time watching this comedy. I don't have any problems with the age of the protagonists as many movies have had an aging male lead with a much younger actress as a love interest.
I had a few scare jumps, enjoyable as I am still alive and seeing Ruth Bradley a definite bonus.
I have all the Primeval series but have not watched since series one.
It is refreshing to see a really attractive woman who can 'really' act and has the shape of a real woman. Worth looking out for and viewing her previous work.
Again an enjoyable bit of fun quite well put together.

Agree very enjoyable and well made! Better than a lot of comedy horrors I have seen recently. 8/10

Yep, was a decent enough flick. My only issue was with the colour grading, what the hell was going on there? It was so sporadic too, one minute like the scene in the cave Richard had eyes so green that Legolas would be jealous. Then they would be normal in the next scene. Not sure if it's because of the cgi and colour grading is required to make it fit in more. The scene where they were in the Police car Ruth's teeth looked green and the safety sign on the bar wall was blue for what I'm guessing should have been white. Even in the very end scene you can see with the small lake it's too blue
Scenery was really stunning in the film in the first half, made me want to go to Ireland if it was filmed there.

Excellent, thanks, I might just go there with my new bike 🙂
I'll probably get pulled over and when I ramble about 'Grabbers' spend the night in jail 😞

The Toker watched this last night, was enjoyable and funny in places. Don't really understand people complaining about age difference between two main leads.
It was made on a budget obviously but was fun. A real bonus as The Toker had never heard of it but noticed it on Lovefilm and gave it a watch.

This looks ridiculous but I plan on watching. Sounds like it's a good laugh.

A real fun enjoyable movie. Too many people are quick to attack films and just can't seem to relax and enjoy a film for once. Some great lines, a bird can't fly on one wing.
