.. it was a really good movie, considering the very small budget, the effects where right on par with much of the hollywood or high-end series effects. Too bad it was not longer

Sad fact is probably more went to pay the actors and CGI. But after hearing the production, and never been to IRE, maybe they needed it for the cold. But no that budget is like a us syfy movie, actually made better or shall l say acting was better either way bette.

Are you kidding me? There is no way the SyFy channel spends 6.5 million dollars on a movie they will make. I don't know what you and the other guys are talking about. Seems like you just want to say " Go America! " or something. Syfy channel does really low-budget movies. Hell, I would guess most of them don't even reach a million dollars for its budget. They are just starting to try to do better but let's be honest. For years the Syfy channel has been producing crap movies whose budget was more like in the hundreds of thousands rather then millions.

No I agree, as of late they are trying to do better. The one where they wake up with no memories on a ship is called " Dark Matter ". They have in the past few years done some impressive stuff. I'm happy the Syfy channel is finally starting to produce some quality shows and movies rather then go for the lousy stuff they used to do.
