It flows and hits all the beats of 50s b flicks such as "The Monster that challenged the World". With a Lovecraftian creature, so bonus! And Ruth Bradley is fun in this flick. She gives a great performance and looks gorgeous doing it!

I'm watching this for the fourth time and it still makes me piss myself laughing! The added bonus is the eye candy that is Richard Coyle (O'Shea).

And Ruth Bradley is fun in this flick.
What must have been interesting for her is that she gets to play virtually 2 different characters in the two halves of the film; sober, straight and modest Lisa and then drunken, wild and wise-cracking Lisa.

Yeah, this was a really well-dome sci-fi/horror monster comedy with genuinely likeable characters and a super gnarly giant alien beast.
You've seen Guy Standeven in something because the man was in everything.
