Last night, when I clicked on your "I'm tired of" thread and it opened showing you had pasted in the IMDb message that the boards are closing and a couple of YouTube links, it hit me the wrong way.
At the time, it just seemed like the 243rd thread by you that I didn't find interesting.
But I shouldn't have said, "Your threads suck, jj. Ignore to the rescue."
Later, after I had shut down the PC and climbed in bed, something caused me to remember something
In a different thread created by someone else that seemed like a nonsense thread,
you posted, "My father killed himself."
I think it was after someone just randomly said, "Kill yourself" to no one in particular.
Until that moment, I hadn't thought about the fact that if that if you weren't joking, it's probably something that still hurts. A lot. Every day.
And the way you post here may be one of the ways you deal with that posting YouTube links of stuff you find that you hope we enjoy as much as you do being generous to us as a way to cope.
Everybody has reasons they're here and a style of posting and I shouldn't have criticized yours just because it rubbed me the wrong way.
I thought about just apologizing in PM, but since I was an azz to you on the board, I decided I should apologize and express my contrition here, too.
I'm sorry, man. I really am. I hope I didn't make your pain worse if your father really did kill himself.

It's too late, Bongo. jjgator is dead. He offed himself last night in a fit of depression. He first drank 8 oz of beer. Then he typed incoherently for two hours. Finally he drove several hundred miles to Canada and into a snowstorm. He will be missed.

I didn't read that text wall from bongo, at all, but if I had to guess he's trying to troll you with some stupidity that is clever only to himself or describing in great detail, yet saying nothing of any subtance, what a terrible beatdown he delivered to you on some occasion that only he remembers, if it ever existed, and if it did, he's remembering it with a warped mind and spewing nonsense in an attempt to confuse you/and or himself.
in short: nobody knows.
