It had echoes of The Exorcist, The Omen, Rosemary's Baby. Can't people make original films anymore? I haven't seen a decent horror movie in over a decade!

True. I actually liked the first half-hour. The "twist" at the end was awful. It's as though they started with a basic Exorcist narrative and suddenly decided to move towards Omen and Rosemary's baby (three for the price of one, they must have figured).
