Fair enough. If I were to try and correct every instance of homophobic or racist usage on this board I wouldn't be able to make any substantive posts. But how can you defend your own support of ALM by pointing out that I have sat by and ignored the use of racist terms? I would argue that Rocket and Snow use these terms reflexively, as many young dudes on the Internet do. Plus if they're not white, or not wholly white, they have some cultural license to use those terms. You, on the other hand, are defending (very badly, I might add) people who are attacking a movement that tries to draw attention to the killing of blacks by racist white cops. What you're doing is much worse, because you've had time to think about your stance, and you're taking a morally impoverished and downright malicious stance. Going on about Snow using the n-word is straightforward deflection, like all your (so-called) arguments.

When a lot of people around the world are upset that white cops are killing black men with impunity (there have been protests everywhere, even at a time when people are afraid of the pandemic), it is an excellent time to build opinion against racism. I am just heading out to a major BLM march. At a time like this, to say that we need to look at personal failings, rather than speak out against pointless killings, is the height of irresponsible behaviour. You can examine your personal failings as you march, or stand up to a loved one after the protest. Jesus Christ! As if moral introspection and public protests are mutually exclusive!
Also, to say All Lives matter is a well-known and infantile way of attacking BLM, and you did precisely that. -

Let me be quite clear. Any white person who thinks that BLM is an unsatisfactory or misplaced slogan is a racist, and a rather stupid one. They may not know it, but they probably have deep feelings of resentment about a perceived loss of racial privilege. If that is offensive, good.
