This is because the people who really care about the world can't risk having this guy around while Joe Biden's America lets Iran continue its nuclear program.
Expect more of this. It's the global equivalent of ensuring all the sharp objects and dangerous chemicals are locked away so the children can't hurt themselves while the adults are out of the room. -

America should dismantle its nuclear programme. Americans are the only people ever to have used nuclear weapons against other human beings. Clearly the last people to be trusted with nuclear weapons. Especially with the moron Trump in charge.

If we weren't the first, someone else would have been. Thankfully we stopped at using them on one country to save millions of lives. I can only imagine what would have happened had Germany or Russia won the race.
You sound like you have never stepped outside of a college campus. You have that naive hippy commune vibe about you. -

What a stupid argument. We used it first because someone else would have used it before us. They should have used it, if they were going to use it at all, on Germany, not Japan. That would have made sense. The "millions of lives" argument is bullshit. Eisenhower was furious that they used it, and claimed they were already wrapping up the war. MacArthur and Leahy also opposed the use of the bomb. They used it to show they had the power, and for racist reasons.

Every time I encounter a lefty I'm reminded of Jonathan Haight's work. He's bang on the money; y'all have screws missing. You can't think, you can only 'feel'. It's impossible for those of us with the power to use logic to understand how you can arrive at most of your conclusions. Ask yourself why the only way you think you can understand ours is to think 'racism'.
Look, for the sake of argument, I'll grant you everything you've asserted above (although it's mostly idiotic!). Now, answer these questions.
If Germany, Russia or Japan had developed the bomb first, would they not have used it?
Should Iran have nuclear weapons?
Would you prefer America didn't have a proven nuclear detergent while Russia has it?
Do you think an invasion of Japan would cost more or less lives than the bombs?
Do you think that if Iran was developing a nuclear bomb they would allow weapons inspectors to know about it? -

You're an even bigger ****ing moron than that Cuck guy, and I actually thought that wasn't possible!
It's entirely possible they wouldn't have used it, you klutz! Did you know that Hitler studied American racist policies to get his Aryan supremacist agenda off the ground? And that he decided they couldn't go as far as the Americans had gone? So yes, Germany might not have used the bomb. In any case, Americans developed the capability first, and despite the fact that 85% of scientists and virtually all the generals advocated against it, Truman decided to use the bomb to display his macho qualities.
If America has nuclear capacity, so should Iran. They should all stop having the bomb, you idiot, especially with clowns like Trump in power.
Invasion of Japan would have cost less lives. All intelligent historians agree on that.
Get off your Iran trip. Look at American insanity vis a vis nukes. -

— 5 years ago(November 28, 2020 04:09 PM)His argument is based entirely in “what if’s” , speculations and projections, yet he’s claiming lefties argue through feelings. He also thinks dropping two nuclear weapons on Japan somehow saved millions of lives by vaporizing two cities full of innocent people.

Yes, that's the really beautiful part. We destroyed two cities, with huge civilian populations, in such a way that deformed babies were being born decades later and various kinds of cancer were rampant, in order to save lives! Imagine what they would do if they wanted to actually
take
lives… -

— 5 years ago(November 28, 2020 06:34 PM)Japan is still trying to recover from that. It’s one of the biggest war atrocities ever committed. And it wasn’t necessary as the Pacific war had been going for 4 years in 1945 and Japan was getting their asses handed to them by the Allies on both ground and naval fronts.

Also, Japan was poised to surrender, mainly because they were terrified of a Russian invasion. This was communicated to Truman, and he said he objected to treating with Japan because of one clause: they insisted that the Emperor not be treated as a war criminal. Truman rejected this (he wanted unconditional surrender). In the event, the Emperor was not tried, and lived out his life peacefully. So why did Truman decide on the bomb? Modern historians argue that he wanted to scare the Russians. Killing off thousands of Japanese civilians was in order to kick-start the Cold War.
After the bomb was dropped, America realized they had a PR problem, and they decided to spin it i the direction of "we did it to save countless American lives." It was the kind of crap we nowadays expect from Republican hoodlums. -

You've misunderstood my post and the issues surrounding the Iran nuclear program, all while using a self-congratulatory tone. Well done. That's a special kind of stupid.
