This is brilliant! Maybe her best book, together with
    This Changes Everything
. It's the first serious treatment of the psychology of right-wing conspiracy nuts.

Naomi Klein's book "Doppelganger: A Trip into the Mirror World" explores the confusion between herself and Naomi Wolf, a writer with similar political views but a drastically different reputation.
This is a VERY woman thing to write a book about.

That's just the framework. The book itself is more about the uncanniness of right-wing appropriation of victimhood themes and the echo-chamber quality of social media….

Oh very nice very nice it sounds very unbiased and objective. I'm sure it's going to bring clarity to political views instead of more partisan hatred.

It was a fantastic read, and a real glimpse into how these types of online echo chambers have had real-world impacts.
I'm about to begin John Ganz's
              When the Clock Broke
, which has gotten good reviews and apparently deals with the American far right of the 1990s and how it inevitably birthed MAGA.
              Draft Barron Trump
