Yeah so I’m over here conducting a very serious Bongo-geo-politricianal thesis, just absolutely marinating my cerebrum in bipartisan barbecue reduction, thinking I’m grilling facts but really I’m just getting grilled by my own undercooked logic—call it medium-rare intelligence with a side of accidental agreement and miscarriages in logic.
Like, I’m vigorously disagreeing in a way that is actually agreeable, which I believe is what scholars refer to as conflagrational consistency—or maybe that’s just me setting my own argument on fire and then warming my hands over it like a policy hobo. Because sure, I’m saying “don’t just regurgitate whatever Trump and Fox extrude from the opinion factory,” but then I’m also over here guzzling the same fear smoothie like it’s got electrolytes for my patriot glands.
It’s a real pun-derful situation—because I tried to take a stand, but instead I took a sit, right in the lap of the exact point I was pretending to wrestle. I went full “nuance-ance” and ended up doing a diplomatic striptease where every layer I peel off just reveals I’m agreeing harder. That’s not a stance, that’s a circumference—I went in a full circle and called it strategy.
And don’t get me started on my vocabulary, I’m out here weaponizing words like “hegemony” and “deterritorial lubrication” (pretty sure that’s not even a thing but it sounds moist and important), trying to sound like a think tank when really I’m just a sink tank slowly draining credibility down the rhetorical toilet.
So yeah, congratulations to me—I’ve successfully bipartisan’d myself into a self-own sanctions package, embargoed my own point, and then shook my own hand like, “good job, you absolute diplomaniac,” while the argument sits there whispering, “bro… you literally just agreed but with extra steps and worse spelling.” and you felt my counterpoint.
