And do NOT say Kate Mulgrew. I never liked her as the Mrs. on that crappy show of hers. Thank goodness it was short lived! I could never imagine her with Columbo/Peter Falk. She was too High Fallootin!
My pick?
Valerie Harper in her Rhoda persona. She was wise cracking and Italian and looked as though she and Columbo were a couple.
Incidentally, she did play the role of a call girl in one of the Columbo episodes.
