I like Charlie Day, but I can't see him as Richie. I'd rather see someone like Bill Hader or Jemaine Clement in the role.

Anyone here like to see Max Greenfeild as either Stan or Eddie ( Adult ).
I only say this because he plays Schmidt on New Girl and that character is (other than a womanizer) organized and peculiar about some things. And the voice is great

Personally* and as far as Eddie goes, if they went for relatively unknown actors, it'd be great if Oz Perkins got the role of Eddie. He's in his early 40s and is the son of Anthony Perkins, whom which Eddie is described looking like in the book.

I think whoever plays Richie should at least have a passing resemblance to the kid playing him.
