Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — The Jay Leno Show

NBC's programming choices have grown progressively more self-destructive over the years, but this is the last straw.
Jay has handled this situation in a way that disrespects his fellow comedians and the legacy of the tonight show. I have no desire to support someone who would pull the rug out from under a fellow entertainer who was trying to get his footing.
If you don't want to retire, don't agree to it in the first place. And if your primetime show isn't doing as well as hoped, maybe you should make a graceful exit rather than stepping on the feet of Conan and his hard-working crew.
