Hell, also called The Labyrinth, is an unholy and evil realm of limitless eternal pain and pleasure. It is ruled by Leviathan. It is a dark maze/labyrinth with Leviathan levitating over the center. It is the home of the Cenobites. Since the time of Angelique, Hell has become more ordered and "much less amusing", as described by Pinhead. Though Hell, in its natural state, is a dark maze/labyrinth, it has the power to take on any shape or state depending on the pleasures and pains of the souls within it. It is widely speculated and hinted that its not the biblical Hell, but an extra dimension that can be perceived as Heaven or Hell by whomever is trapped there. If this is true, then they are 2 kinds of Hell in the Hellraiser universe.
