I don't know where it is, but you have to remember that photo is revealed in the part where they were discussing Grace Coddington's art in general and was shown (along with the other pictures shown in that scene) as an example of some of her finest work. So it wasn't part of the 2007 September Issue. It was something she had done earlier.

yes, i realize that.
but i couldn't find some sort of online portfolio of grace on the internet. i guess that as we see in the film, she didn't actually shoot it herself, but did it together with a photographer, so the picture would be in his portfolio. the question then would be, with whom? -

Ok. So I took a screen capture of the picture and then plugged it in to the reverse image engine search tinyeye. It only came up with one hit, but it was pretty useful. The picture is from a Vogue series entitled "High Toned Tweeds". I don't know the year or the issue. But the model is Stella Tennant, whose US modeling career reached it's zenith between the years 1997-1999 when she graced the cover of Vogue three times. My bet is photo appeared during those years. The photographer was Arthur Elgort. His website features his fashion portfolio and if you click on that and wait a while for the entire sidebar of pictures to load the girl jumping in to the pool is the second to the last photo as you scroll down. Hope this is helpful to you in your efforts to secure a better copy of the picture. Bye.

My favorite was the model running on the beach in her bluish evening gown with the full train of the dress trailing behind her. I felt that it was a magnificent photograph.
I threw that sh before I walked into the room! -
