Is he just as much a victim here, as his victims? I bet no one wants to be a murderous psychopath. But if you’re unlucky enough you might be born with an appetite for killing. Or turned into one by abuse. Either way, you’re not responsible for being who you were made to be. It’s really just bad luck.

Because a lot of people don't want the inconvenience of being caught with murdering.
The number one thing preventing murder is how much is sucks to get caught having done it.

There are many factors that come into play with a psychopathic mind like Dahmers and while many may dismiss this, when one is born and the universal elements can play a large part too.
Many serial killers fall under certain star signs and especially mutable ones, when change is happening in seasons.
I'd say Jeff was largely damaged in the womb due to a cocktail of pharmaceuticals his mother took to begin with, add dysfunction in the home, the mother apparently didn't care much for Jeff and wasn't loving with him and the father was away a lot of the time.

I think he was damaged in the womb because his mom was sickly and took medication, which you're not supposed to do when you're carrying a baby
He actually should have just committed suicide instead of harming animals and then moving on to what he did to those poor victims of his -

While Dahmer was very troubled, was he actually the suicidal type? I think he liked attention from others.
When those ignorant pigs handed that 14yr old kid back to him, there were 4 more victims after that, excluding the kid. Just appalling!

It's beyond belief that they did that to that kid, absolutely appalling
He said in an interview that he had contemplated suicide but he just didn't have the courage or whatever
That's always my go-to though, I like to say that someone should kill themselves before they take out innocent lives -

Dahmer had a cruel streak in him that he couldn’t control. He was mentally ill it seemed by every measure, in that he couldn’t stop. Was he a narcissist though? Gacy and Bundy were.

Many kids are fascinated with animals and insects growing up and Dahmer was encouraged by his dad too. His dad wasn't a bad man and the series depicted road kill being dissected by them. Was Dahmer cruel to live animals?
